Last evening, Mumbai’s theater aficionados witnessed a spectacular premiere of Arthur Miller’s Death Of A Salesman by Raëll Padamsee’s Ace Productions.

Veteran theater star, Alyque Padamsee, marvelously executed the immensely challenging dual role of directing the play as well as playing the main protagonist. He was superbly complimented by his co-star Sabira Merchant and two new young actors Neel Tolani and Jim Sarbh, both of whom were outstanding.

Death of a Salesman
Death of a Salesman is a 1949 stage play written by American playwright Arthur Miller. It won the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play. The play premiered on Broadway in February 1949, running for 742 performances, and has been revived on Broadway four times, winning three Tony Awards for Best Revival. It is considered by some critics to be one of the greatest plays of the 20th century.
